Maddy Poynter led Grace College to a historic week, as the Lancers scored a women’s collegiate record at any level 172 points in a win over Ohio Christian University. Grace added 114 more in their second win of the week over Cleary University for 286 on the week. Poynter, the sophomore from Lapel, Indiana, scored 68 of those points with 34 in each victory. Poynter shot over 50% from the field and 85% from the free throw line while also dishing out an average of 7.5 assists per game in the wins. Grace has scored over 100 points in each of their last four games as they are 5-1 on the year in the early season.
