Mason Gorsh put on a show for the hometown Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles, guiding FBBC to a 3-0 week. The junior from Ankeny, Iowa opened the week with 23 points on 52% from the field, including three shots from distance, while also adding two rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block in the Eagles’ 94-54 win over Free Lutheran Bible College. Gorsh continued to roll for FBBC, scoring 23 points again, this time shooting 8-10 from the floor and nailing five three-pointers, allwhile hauling in four boards, dishing out three assists, and tallying four steals in a 107-59 win over Barclay College. Gorsh saved his best for last, as Faith Baptist Bible College upset fourth-ranked Manhattan Christian College 93-91, thanks to 36 pointsfrom Gorsh, including six triples, while pulling in three rebounds, handing out a pair of assists, and recording three steals. Gorsh finished the week averaging 27.3 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 3.3 SPG, while shooting 52% from the field and 52% from deep. FaithBaptist Bible’s 7-2 start is their best in recent program history.
