Santana Roybal-Benson led Bethel University to a 2-0 start to the men’s volleyball season behind a near perfect hitting percentage from his middle blocker position. The junior from Las Vegas, Nevada recorded 16 kills on 19 attempts for a .740 hitting percentage. He was a force on the defensive end as well, adding 10 assisted blocks and two solo blocks for an average of over 1.5 blocks per match. The Pilots swept both opponents to open the year, including one win over NAIA receiving votes Cornerstone University.
