Summer Swartwout returns to the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the first time as a sophomore after winning the 60-meter and 200-meter for Cedarville University at the Wittenberg Steemer Showcase this past weekend. Cedarville would go on to win the team title behind Swartwout’s performance. Swartwout ran a 7.58 second 60-meter and a 24.51 second 200-meter. The 200-meter mark highlights her performance as it ranks second all-time in Cedarville school history and earns her an NCAA Division II provisional qualification. So far this season, Swartwout holds the top times in both events in the NCCAA.
