Mia Rose pitched to contact and got the necessary outs to earn two wins from the circle for Malone University this week. The junior from Gnadenhutten, Ohio started the week with five innings pitched and three strikeouts and ended the week with a complete game with a pair of strikeouts for 12 total innings pitched this week. Despite giving up 18 hits on the week, Rose allowed just five earned runs, navigating the traffic on the base pads well. She did not walk a single batter this week as she recorded two of Malone’s three wins on the Pioneers' opening weekend.
