Bryant Keirns, sophomore from Oklahoma Christian University, opened up the indoor track season with a strong second-place finish in the 3,000 meters at the Missouri Southern Indoor Invitational in Joplin, Mo. The time of 8:50.96 was the second-fastest among NCCAA runners this season. Then, running on OC's 4x400-meter relay team for the first time, he anchored a squad that also qualified for the NCCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 3:35.88.
