Phil Stupka of Malone University once again earned NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honors after another outstanding weekend at the VertKlasse Meeting, hosted by High Point University. The senior standout sprinter earned a pair of third place finishes at the tough meet, earning a time of 10.57 seconds in the 100-meter race and a mark of 21.22 seconds in the 200-meter. Stupka also helped the Malone 4x400 team to a 13th place finish at the event, and the second fastest mark in the NCCAA with a time of 3:23.64. Stupka’s mark of 21.22 in the 200-meter ranks second all-time in program history and is the top mark so far in the NCCAA this season.
