Morgan Welch led Grace College at the Little State Championships, highlighting her effort with a first-place finish in the 1500-meter race. Welch ran a mark of 4:53.7 to earn first out of 47 competitors and rank eighth in the NCCAA this season. She also helped the Lancer 4x800 team earn an NAIA provisional qualification and NCCAA qualification with a time of 9:17.76. The mark is the new fastest time in the NCCAA this season and Grace earned second as a team at the Little State Championships.
