In a week that saw Arlington Baptist University face two more NAIA opponents, Payton Koller played a huge role in the team’s success with 45 digs from the back row. The junior from Joshua, Texas averaged 5.63 digs per set as Arlington Baptist went 1-1 in a pair of four-set matches. Koller added 36 receptions in serve-receive to lead the team with an average of 4.5 per set. The Patriots earned their second win of the young season behind Koller’s defense, defeating Jarvis Christian University 3-1 to highlight the week.
