After playing just 28 minutes in Spurgeon College’s season opening 4-1 loss to Randall University, Eduard Mangalagiu saw the bulk of the time at center back against Emmaus University where he took advantage, scoring two goals with an assist in the 7-2 win. The junior from Iasi, Romania totaled five points in the game and was involved in three of the team’s seven goals. With the win, Spurgeon opens 2026 with a 1-1-0 record.
