Defensive Specialist Britney Gilchrist helped Arlington Baptist University sweep Texas College and Richland College this week with a strong defensive effort. The graduate student from Waller, Texas recorded 25 total digs in six sets with 10+ in each match. She averaged 4.17 per set to lead the team. Gilchrist was also perfect on the serve receive recording 11 receptions with no errors. With just a few weeks remaining before NCCAA play begins for the Patriots, Gilchrist helped her team get back to .500 at 4-4 overall.
