Freshman Nelle Peterson qualified for the NCCAA National Championship in her first collegiate race for Emmaus University, running a 24:16.9 5,000-meter at the Loras College Bob Schultz Invite. Peterson finished 44th individually with an average mile pace of 7:48.9. Emmaus did not record a team score in the event, but Peterson recorded the fastest time among Emmaus runners in the event.
