Freshman Alex Davis recorded a dominant mark for Faith Baptist Bible College at the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Trent Smith Invitational this past week with an 8,000-meter time of 28:10.3. Davis finished fourth overall and earned an individual qualification to the NCCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country National Championship. He also led his team to a national qualification. Davis was less than a minute shy of breaking the Faith Baptist Bible program record for an 8,000-meter in his first collegiate race for the Eagles.
