Morgan Philyaw finished second individually for the University of Northwestern in a field of 198 players at the Midwest Region Classic with a two-round score of 146. She opened the 36-hole event tying a Northwestern program record she already had a share of with 72 before finishing the event with a 74 (+2). Philyaw led Northwestern to a third-place team finish out of 35 competing teams as well to earn her second NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honor of 2026.
