Miranda Wyatt was a brick wall at the net all week, helping the University of Northwestern to a 2-1 record behind 23 total blocks. The junior gave NCAA Division III (3) University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire problems all night with nine blocks in a four-set loss. She later equaled that total again in Saturday’s sweep of Crown. In addition to her block efforts, Wyatt added 26 kills and tallied a .480 hitting percentage. Wyatt leads all of NCCAA Division I in blocks per set with 1.40 so far this season.
