Ashley Lutz, junior guard from Granger, IN, recorded two double-doubles in Bethel College’s 1-1 week. The Lady Pilots got back in the win column with a big road win over Taylor University where Lutz recorded 18 points (9 for 13 from the field) to go along with 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Her steller play continued as BC faced the NAIA No. 5 IWU where Lutz unloaded 18 points including 4 for 4 from behind the three-point arch and collected an astonishing 17 rebound. Not only did Lutz lead BC in points and rebounds, but she also dished out five assists and only committed 1 turnover in 40 minutes played against the Wildcats. On the week Lutz was 59.2% (16 for 27) from the field and 80% from the three-point line.
