Mohamed Guled’s historic season for Mid-America Christian University continued this past week at the Dallas Baptist University Old Glory Gallop. The junior from Al Ain City, United Arab Emirates improved on his NAIA and NCCAA record breaking 8,000-meter time with a new best of 22:53.8. He finished second individually, narrowly falling to an NCAA Division II athlete who edged him out, preventing Guled winning his third consecutive race. Guled is the only NCCAA and NAIA athlete with a sub-23-minute 8,000-meter time this season.
