Leah Emch earned 12th place individually for Grace College at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recording a 5,000-meter time of 18:10.6. The sophomore from Perrysburg, Ohio was the Lancers top finisher to lead her team to fourth out of 22 in competition. Grace’s fourth place finish put them right behind three programs ranked in the NAIA top five. Emch averaged a 5:51 mile pace with her effort to impress at the high-end meet.
