Kristine Egebrecht, Junior middle hitter from Indiana Wesleyan University, had a career week in leading Indiana Wesleyan to a 5-0 record, including wins over NAIA #18 IU-East, NAIA #22 Cornerstone, and NAIA #RV St. Xavier. Egebrecht totaled 23 kills in the win over Aquinas and 22 kills in the win over Olivet Nazarene. The two kill totals were the two highest of her career, surpassing her previous high of 17. In all, Egebrecht amassed 83 kills and a .333 attack percentage. Egebrecht was also a force defensively at the net, totaling eight solo blocks and 11 block assists. She had three solo blocks and five bock assists in the 3-1 win at #18 IU-East and then three solo blocks and two block assists in the NAIA Match of the Week vs. #22 Cornerstone.
