Nick Lentz, junior center from Onida, SD, helped Trinity Bible College go 3-1 in 4 games this week, including helping the Lions win their 2nd ever NIAC Conference Tournament Championship. Lentz also had a career high 37 points on 18 for 21 shooting from the field in the Lions 89 to 94 Overtime loss to NAIA rival Presentation College Saints (Aberdeen, SD). In the loss, Lentz also added 14 rebounds for a double-double. Nick then followed up his career night by helping the Lions win 126-78 in the 1st round of the NIAC Conference Tournament. In the win the junior needed 15 points to eclipse 1000 career points and he reached the milestone on a free throw with 12 minutes to play in the 2nd half. On the week Lentz averaged 22.25 PPG, 10.25 RPG, 1.25 steals, and 1.25 assists. He earned two (nearly three) double-doubles on the week.
