Matt Brooker, Senior from Cedarville University, finished 4th overall to lead host Cedarville to a best-ever third-place showing in the 58th Annual Men's All-Ohio Intercollegiate Championship at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course. The Yellow Jackets also won the NCAA Division II/NAIA trophy for the first time ever. Cincinnati repeated as the team champion in the 44-team field with 86 points. Miami was the runner-up at 115 points and Cedarville tallied 160. Rounding out the top five were Shawnee State, 169, and Akron, 187. Brooker toured the 8,000 meters in 24:43. He was also the fastest DII/NAIA competitor.
