Track: Logan Rodgers, freshman from Denton, TX, finished first in the 5000 Meter run and second in the 3000 Meter run at the Capital (University) Classic in Columbus, Ohio. His 5K finish was the second-fastest in school history and he won that event by 11 seconds, dominating the competition. The 3k race was a school record and personal best. In running both events, Rodgers ran the furthest distance anyone could possibly run in Capital Classic and came out with a near sweep in both of the most taxing events. His effort earned critical points for the Trojans who finished sixth overall in the team competition.
