Roz Hamilton, senior forward from Idabel, OK, was named as the most valuable player in the NCCAA Central Region tournament after leading the Oklahoma Christian University Lady Eagles to their second straight region championship, recording a double-double in the title game. She was a force inside, averaging 10 rebounds per game and blocking three shots, and she was a perfect 13-of-13 from the free-throw line in the two games. She scored the first six points of the second half in the title game against Mid-America Christian to help build OC's lead and ensure the Lady Eagles wouldn't be caught.
