Anna Arrese Cortadellas, Sophomore from Oklahoma Christian University, tied for medalist honors in the Grand Canyon Fall Invitational, played at The Wigwam Resort's Heritage course (par 72, 6,000 yards) in Litchfield Park, Ariz. She finished the two-round event at 2-under-par 142 and was the only golfer in the tournament to shoot both rounds at par or better. It was the third time in her career she's been a medalist and she led the Lady Eagles to a second-place finish, matching the program's best-ever team result. Her first-round 70 was the second-lowest score of the tournament, which included 17 teams, most from the West Coast. OC finished five shots behind tournament winner and host Grand Canyon, which finished third in NCAA Division II in 2012.
