Casey Clarke, Senior kicker from Campbellsville University, scored all 15 points for Campbellsville to give the Tigers their first win of the season Saturday at Kentucky Christian University, 15-14. Clarke, a former NCCAA All-Mid-East Region midfielder, set four CU field goal records (tied 2, broke 2) in only his fifth-ever game of American football. Clarke kicked field goals of 20, 34, 37, 52 and 41 yards. His 52-yarder tied the record for longest field goal in school history, previously set 22 years ago to the day on Sept. 29, 1990 by Steve Tow. Clarke also tied the record for most field goals attempted (5), while breaking the CU records for most field goals made (5) and points scored by a kicker (15). His 5 field goals are the fifth-most ever made in an NAIA football game, one shy of the NAIA record (6). Averaged 62.3 yards per kickoff. He kicked three 65-yard kickoffs into the end zone, resulting in one touch back. Earlier in the day Monday, he was named the Mid-South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
