Roz Hamilton, senior from Idabel, OK, broke a 27-year-old Oklahoma Christian school record -- the program's oldest -- with her 4,561-point outing in the Cowley Tiger Heptathlon. Hamilton scored 2,801 points in four events – the shot put, high jump, 200 meters and 400 meters – on the first day (winning the shot put), then capped her performance by winning the heptathlon's final event, the 800 meters, with a time of 2:26.96. During the heptathlon, she also qualified for the NCCAA Outdoor Championships in the 200 meters, 100-meter hurdles, high jump (in which she's ranked 5th nationally) and long jump. Hamilton is 2nd in the NCCAA in the Heptathlon.
