Track: Lakeisha Spikes, senior from Vero Beach, FL, led the Lady Hawks to their second straight NCCAA Track & Field National Championship this season. Shorter took top honors at the Indoor meet in February, as well. Spike earned Top Female Runner of the meet, after helping to contribute 40 points to Shorter's total. In route to the national championship in both the 100 and 200, Spikes set a new Championship record in the 100 and was just missed a new 200 record by .12 of a second. She joined Ashley Ballard, Giselle Webb, and Alexis Smith in the 4x100 where the team collected top honors and a new meet record.
