Chelsea Swisher, senior forward from Moore, OK, fresh off setting the Mid-America Christian University’s single-season record for points (52) last season, scored six goals and dished out two assists to lead the Lady Evangels to a 3-0 start. Swisher recorded a hat trick of three goals with one assist in a 10-0 victory over Jarvis Christian College before tallying one goal and one assist in a 3-2 win at Houston-Victoria (Texas). She then capped the week with a two-goal effort as the Lady Evangels rallied from 2-0 down to knock of LSU-Alexandria 4-3 Saturday afternoon (Sept. 6). Swisher leads the Sooner Athletic Conference in points per game (4,67) and is tied for the league lead in goals (6) and points (14). She was also named the Sooner Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
