Kaitlyn Whitten, junior goalkeeper from Houston, Texas, did not allow any goals in her 135 minutes in the net this past week, leading the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels to a pair of victories. Whitten made one save in the first half in a 2-1 victory over Bethel (Kan.) and then stopped a career-high seven shots as the Lady Evangels opened the Sooner Athletic Conference season with a 1-0 shutout at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Whitten currently ranks third in the SAC with an 0.82 goals-against average and was also named the Sooner Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
