Hannah Butler, junior libero from Fresno, California, set a new Fresno Pacific University school record for digs in a match, recording 43 digs in a five-set victory over Hawaii Hilo. The reigning PacWest libero of the year played fantastic defense all week, swallowing up attacks against some of the league's best. She led the Sunbirds to two victories, as well as a near-upset of NCAA #4-ranked BYU Hawaii, a match in which she had 25 digs as the Sunbirds came within one point of knocking off the four-time defending conference champions.
