Clay Watson, senior from Norcross, Georgia, claimed the individual title and the Cedarville University Yellow Jackets placed third at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Watson toured the 8,000 meters in 25:07 for his first career title.Watson won the race by six seconds. Host Carnegie Mellon took the top spot in its own 13-team invitational with 41 points. Cortland State was the runner-up with 48 while Cedarville tallied 68.
