Matt Schauss, senior guard from Greens Fork, Indiana, started off the 2014-15 season with a bang scoring a career-high 36 points to go along with seven assists, six rebounds and one steal in Bethel College’s 113-84 victory over (RV) University of Northwestern Ohio. Schauss connected on 12-of-20 shooting from the field including 6-of-9 from beyond the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. He followed up that performance with 13 points, five assists and three rebounds while not turning the ball over in Bethel's 81-75 win over Brescia University (KY). For the week Schauss averaged 24.5 points, six assists and 4.5 rebounds guiding No. 10 Bethel to an early 2-0 start.
