Twila Smedley, junior goalkeeper from Manter, Kansas, was instrumental in helping Central Christian College finish the season on a three-game winning streak, allowing only 1 goal during the streak. In the final week of the season, Smedley shutout conference rivals York College 2-0 with 3 saves. Against Johnson & Wales, she made 7 saves including arguably her best save of the season to keep the score tied at 0-0. We eventually won 2-1.
