Erynn Schuh, senior setter from Frankfort, IL, helped lead Trinity Christian College to a NCCAA National Championship title. Erynn had 262 assists for the week for a 12.4 assist per set average. With Erynn setting up the attack the team had a .296 attack percentage for the six matches of the tournament and averaged 14.9 kills per set. In addition Erynn had 68 digs for a 3.24 dig per set average, which was second on the team. She recorded a .990 serving percentage with only one missed serve in 100 attempts and having four aces. She also finished the tournament with 13 kills and seven assisted blocks. Erynn was named the Tournament MVP and was the NCCAA/AVCA Volleyball Player of the Year. At the championship the team did not lose a set through their first four matches. They defeated Grace College in five sets in the semifinals and took Colorado Christian in four sets in the championship match. The championship title was a first for Trinity's volleyball program. The team finished the season with a 38-10 record, which ties the school record for most number of season wins.
