Ashlee Ferguson, senior guard from The Colony, TX, scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels to a 58-54 victory over the McMurry University War Hawks on Dec. 15 in Abilene, Texas. The following week of games Ferguson averaged 27.0 ppg along with three rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals in the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels 1-1 week. Ferguson's big game came in a 100-65 victory over Northern New Mexico College that featured a game-high 37 points on 13-of-27 shooting from the floor. Her 37 points are second in school history (since joining the NAIA) only to her 40 point outing last year (2/22/14) and her 13 field-goal makes are two shy of her 15 last season (2/22/14). Her nine threes tie a school mark that she also set last season (2/22/14). Ferguson is currently fifth in the Sooner Athletic Conference in scoring (16.5 ppg) and is second in threes per game (2.9). Ferguson was also named the SAC Player of the Week.
