Carsyn Koch, freshman from Washburn, ME, won the mile run and was part of the victorious 4 x 800 meter relay foursome as the Cedarville Lady Jackets began the 2015 portion of the indoor schedule at the Indianapolis Greyhound Classic. Koch, a freshman from Washburn, Maine, avoided a potential disaster in the mile when a fellow competitor wiped out among the frontrunners. She went on to post a winning mark of 5:14.76 while teammate Olivia Esbenshade was 3rd in 5:16.60. Koch and Esbenshade teamed up with Hailey Bredeson and Carly Rose to win the 4 x 800 meter relay. Koch’s times in the mile and 4x800 rank 1st in the NCCAA.
