Semar Farris, senior guard from Ft. Worth, TX, averaged 19.0 ppg, seven assists and 2.5 steals in leading the Mid-America Christian University Evangels to their fifth and sixth straight victories this past week, the Evangels longest win streak since joining the NAIA. Farris scored 16 points with six assists and nailed the game-winning jumper with 1.3 seconds left in an 83-81 victory over Texas Wesleyan University and then delivered 22 points and eight points to lead a 92-75 rout of No. 8-ranked Oklahoma Baptist University. Farris is ninth in the SAC in points per game (17.3 ppg) and is tops in the SAC in both assists (5.5 apg) and steals per game (2.35 spg).
