Carsyn Koch, freshman from Washburn, ME, had an outstanding performance at the home Cedarville Collegiate Invitational and takes both the running performance and field performance NCCAA honors this week. Koch posted a first place finish in the 800 meter run, which also ranks as the fastest time posted this year in conference and ranks first in the NCCAA rankings with an official time of 2:19.09 (the time was converted to 2:17.51 because of track size). In the DMR Koch and teammates posted a NCCAA 2nd ranking time of 12:40.6. Koch also competed in the high jump and placed first in the meet and 2nd in the NCCAA rankings with a height of 5-3.75.
