Stephen H. Morley – A 1965 graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College (now Taylor University), Morley assisted his father, Oswald, at FWBC for two years, and then assumed the position of Head Basketball Coach and Athletic Director in 1967. He went on sabbatical during the 1982-83 school year, serving as volunteer assistant under Gary Garner at Drake University while finishing his Master’s Degree in Education. He returned to Fort Wayne, where he coached through the 1986-87 season. Morley then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1987 to assume the position of Athletic Director and Girls’ Basketball coach at Northwest Community Christian Schools, where he served until 1990. From 1990-95, he worked for Karsten Manufacturing, the makers of the Ping golf club. His last three years at Karsten, he was also the Athletic Dierector and Head Basketball Coach at Southwestern College. In 1995, he went to serve at Southwestern College full-time. Morley has served as the NCCAA Division II National Chair for Basketball (1977-79), Division II Vice Chair for Basketball (1984-87), District III Chair (1981-82), Regional Chair (1993-96), and division II Chair (1975-81, 1983-86, 1996-98). He has also won six District/Regional Coach of the Year Awards (1973, 77-79, 99, 00).
