Dr. Ralph Swearngin Jr. has been involved in Christian higher education for 20 years. He has made a very significant contribution to the NCCAA as he has given of himself in numerous leadership roles the past 18 years. Much of the growth and development of the NCCAA Division II (Bible Colleges) can be attributed to the dedicated work of Swearngin. His under graduate work was completed at Whittier College in 1966. His extensive NCCAA leadership roles have included District 2 Chair (1976-81), National Basketball Chair (1976-81); Board of Director (1983-92) and President (1987-89). Upon completion of this school year he began work as the Associate Director of the Georgia High School Association. The NCCAA will greatly miss his involvement, dedicated work, and expertise
