Hall of Fame
Dr. Pam Johnson serves as one of four academic deans on the campus of Cedarville University, making her the highest-ranking female on campus. Everyone who knows Pam knows that such status is not what motivates her as she finds her joy in the pursuit of excellence. Her rise within the Cedarville University administration only adds to a history of outstanding academic performance that earned her such honors as the Reneker Award from the University of Dayton and University Fellowship at the Ohio State University. Having been recognized by both the Cedarville University and the NAIA Halls of Fame for her thirty years of coaching excellence, Pam has always sought to excel while doing what was right in God’s eyes. Her teams won eleven NAIA District and region titles and eight conference titles. Twelve times she led her teams to the NAIA National Championship. She has been the leading force behind the growth and development in Women’s Tennis with the NCCAA, having served as Tennis Chair and National Championship Director from 2002-2007. For her leadership and contribution, she was awarded the NCCAA Meritorious Service Award in 2007. With a long resume of awards and successes, those who know Pam can attest that her greatest list of accomplishments can be found within the rosters of the teams she coached. As one student-athlete shared, “Coach Johnson demonstrated what a Godly woman can be when completely surrendered to Him. All my Bible study and prayer never produced anything more inspiring that what I saw every day from Coach.” “The beauty of Pam is that she cares about every student competing, not just her players,” states peer and colleague Mark Elliot of North Greenville University. Pam continues to invest in the next generation as she finds time each week to serve as the director of the SPARKS program at her local church. Along with husband, Cliff, the NCCAA congratulates Dr. Pam Johnson on her induction into the NCCAA Hall of Fame.
