Congratulations Azusa Pacific University the 2014 NCCAA Men's Tennis National Champions!
The 2014 NCCAA Men's Tennis National Championship was held on May 6-9 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, AL.
Azusa nearly went without one dropped match in four rounds of National Championship play during the tournament. The Cougars defeated Roberts Wesleyan College in the opening round 5-1, then in round two and three they won 5-0 against Mississippi College and Point University. They met Palm Beach Atlantic University in the semifinals and defeated the Sailfish 5-0.
In the National Championship Azusa met their toughest competition McMurry University. The doubles matches were played outdoors then weather forces the singles matches indoor. Azusa defeated McMurry 5-2 and earned the 2014 National Championship title and banner.
