Warner University and 3-0 over #8
Bluefield College, before falling to #1
Colorado Christian University 3-1 to finish second in Pool A. TCC played to a hard fought 3-2 (25-23, 26-24, 21-25, 22-5, 15-11) win over #3
Oklahoma Baptist University in their semifinal matchup. In the championship match, TCC once again came out on top of a tough match to win 3-2 (25-17, 25-27, 25-17, 22-25, 15-13) over #2
Campbellsville University. Leading TCC to victory was Tori Mantel with 44 assists along with Rachel Verhage and Danielle Oeverman who both contributed 16 kills each.
Kacie Stoll from TCC was the Tournament Most Outstanding Player while Remy Bucknor of
Indiana Wesleyan University was named the National Player of the Year. Katy Headrick of
McMurry University was the Susan R. Hellings Award Recipient and TCC’s Bill Schepel was named Coach of the Year for his second time. The All-Tournament Team, All-Americans, and Scholar-Athletes are listed
