Greenville, SC:  The American Red Cross has announced 13 students who have been selected to participate in its Collegiate Leadership Program, including 7 from NCCAA member institutions. Congratulations to Trinity Burdick (Huntington University), Luka Eric (Trinity International University), Life Granville (Bethel University), Emily Greenhouse (Cedarville University), Paige Johnson (Concordia University Ann Arbor), Alexandra Mendoza (Trinity Christian College), and Olivia Muriel (University of Saint Katherine).

The Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program gives participating students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and inspire a new generation of Red Cross volunteers by organizing Red Cross blood drives for their classmates and community. This program begins with training, mentoring, and networking during a two-week internship at American Red Cross Headquarters in Washington, D.C., before participants return to campus to encourage fellow students to join them in the Red Cross mission. Students participating in the Red Cross Collegiate Leadership Program will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
