Dallas Christian College Selected to Host the NCCAA Softball World Series Through 2027 1/22/2025 12:00:00 AM Greenville, SC - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announces a three-year bid with Dallas Christian College to host the NCCAA Softball World Series. The World Series will be held at Oak Grove Softball Complex in Grapevine, Texas, roughly 20 minutes off the campus of Dallas Christian, from 2025 through 2027. “Dallas Christian College is a new championship host and Grapevine, Texas a new location for our NCCAA membership”, said NCCAA Executive Director Dan Wood. “We are thrilled to begin this new partnership and have an opportunity to serve the community through our Christian Service Projects (CSP), as well as bring high quality collegiate softball to the greater Dallas area.” In 2016, following the success of the newly renovated Oak Grove Baseball Complex, the city of Grapevine approved to enhance their softball complex with an updated facility that opened in 2020. The complex has four natural grass fields with a brand-new concession stand, restroom building, and maintenance facility. The facility also has a covered outdoor seating area with plenty of shade behind home plate at each of the four fields. Dallas Christian Director of Athletics Gregg Mucerino stated, “We are ecstatic to bring the NCCAA Softball World Series to the beautiful Oak Grove Softball Complex in the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) area! We are very thankful to all those within the NCCAA, at Dallas Christian, and in the Grapevine/Colleyville area who have worked diligently to bring this to completion. We are excited for what the Lord has in store this spring and how He will use this event to further His kingdom through the efforts of many here in DFW.” “We are very excited to be hosting the NCCAA Softball World Series,” added Dallas Christian President Brian Smith. “We see this as an opportunity to welcome teams and institutions with a shared mission to advance Christ-centered athletic competition. I pray that these efforts lift the name of Jesus Christ among all we influence through the event.” The NCCAA Softball World Series will consist of an eight-team double-elimination style tournament that will take place on two fields until the championship series begins.
