Elijah Wrobel Named Inaugural Men’s Volleyball Game Plan 4 LIFE Award Recipient 4/24/2025 12:00:00 AM Greenville, SC – The NCCAA is proud to announce Elijah Wrobel of Judson University as the 2025 Game Plan 4 LIFE (GP4L) Award recipient for Men’s Volleyball. In the first year of the Men’s Volleyball GP4L Award, Judson University senior Elijah Wrobel is an athlete who represents the award well through his journey as a Christ-follower. Coming into Judson as a freshman, Wrobel was joining a young team that did not have a heavy presence of Christian leaders. Within a year, Wrobel was named team captain, changing the culture to be centered on Christ. During his time in college, Wrobel has used his passion for support missionaries to launch a brand called Carry the Cross. The mission of this organization is to help fund missionaries in their respective ministries around the world. Wrobel has used this mission to connect with his teammates as he leads a weekly team Bible study out of his dorm room focused on the mission of carrying the cross. On the court, Wrobel has received a multitude of honors. He has been named to three NAIA All-Conference First Team’s, has earned Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Setter of the Year twice, and has won NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honors a dozen times. Wrobel averages 9.5 assists per set over his career, while also recording a hitting percentage of .440. Wrobel is concluding his collegiate career in May and will graduate with a degree in architecture. Throughout his academic career, Wrobel has maintained a 3.70 GPA and has earned multiple NCCAA and NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors in addition to being a Judson Dean’s List Honoree. “Elijah is truly a once in a lifetime individual, far beyond just a student or athlete,” said Judson Men’s Volleyball Head Coach Jake Wallin. “He embodies a rare combination of character, faith, and leadership that leaves a lasting impact on everyone he encounters. Elijah’s influence will continue to reflect Christ’s message long after he leaves Judson University, inspiring others through his example for years to come.” Award Description The Men’s Volleyball GP4L Character Award recognizes and honors student-athletes who epitomize the Game Plan 4 LIFE values of Love, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence.
