#KINGCHASING STUDY PROGRAM: UNIT THREE - FAMILY 9/1/2025 12:00:00 AM In the Christian faith, family extends beyond biological or marital ties. It extends to those who are with us in the faith and they become our brothers and sisters. We are called to love this family as our own. And at the same time many coaches have a family of their own that can get neglected for the job of coach. Faith calls us to engage "family" at a deep level and feel the responsibility to both our biological and faith families. Unit Three – Family Lesson One – Making Time Count: Quality vs. Quantity for the Christian Coach In this article, coaches are reminded that true impact comes not from the quantity of time spent with others, but from the quality of their presence. Using biblical principles and practical examples, coaches are challenged to be fully present with their families, athletes, and communities. Lesson Two – The Adopted Coach: Understanding Your Identity in the Family of God In this devotional, coaches are reminded that their true identity is as adopted sons or daughters of God through Jesus Christ, not defined by performance or success. It calls them to live and coach from the security of God's grace, knowing they are fully loved and accepted because of Jesus' sacrifice. Lesson Three – Three Ways Coaches Can Pray Scripture For Their Families In this devotional, coaches are encouraged to prioritize their families by praying for them daily, even when away, using Scripture as a guide. It explains three practical ways to do this: praying Bible verses exactly as written, personalizing them for family needs, and combining different verses to form meaningful, specific prayers. # # # # #
