GREENVILLE, S.C. – The #KingChasing Podcast has released the second episode of its sixth season, as NCCAA Communications Coordinator Richard Martin interviews Charlie Pentecost, Sports Information Director at College of the Ozarks (CofO).

A graduate of College of the Ozarks, Pentecost spent 26 years coaching and then in full-time ministry, before being named the Sports Information Director at CofO in 2020. Pentecost spent plenty of time working in the sports information department before earning the full-time position, spending time as a student assistant and public address announcer for basketball. Pentecost has also served as the tournament director for the NCCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball National Championships that have been played at the Keeter Gymnasium on the campus of College of the Ozarks.

In this episode, Pentecost discusses growing up the son of a pastor, how he came to CofO as a student and then returned after entering full-time ministry, how he ministers to his student-workers on campus, and now getting to work with his son as head baseball coach.
