Greenville, SC - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) is excited to introduced two new institutions starting in the 2026-27 academic year in Azusa Pacific University and Selma University.
 
“With their rich history and commitment to sharing the Gospel of Christ through the educational model, we are honored to welcome Azusa Pacific University and Selma University back into NCCAA membership," stated NCCAA Executive Director Dan Wood. Azusa Pacific University
Azusa Pacific University (APU) is in Azusa, California and will be joining the NCCAA as a full member in the Division I West Region. Azusa plans to compete in the following NCCAA sports in 2026-27: Baseball, Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Cross Country, Men's & Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field, Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field, and Women's Volleyball.

"The mission and purpose of the NCCAA reminds us of the very best reasons for having an intercollegiate athletics program. Selma University
Selma University is in Selma, Alabama and will be joining the NCCAA as a Division II South Region Provisional Member. Selma plans to compete in the following NCCAA sports in 2026-27: Men's Basketball and Women's Volleyball.

"Selma University is honored and excited to be accepted into the NCCAA," said Selma Athletic Director Jeremiah Whitt. "The opportunity represents a major step forward for our athletic department and our institution as a whole.
