Bob Jones University Wins Third Straight DII Women's Cross Country National Championship 11/11/2022 2:00:10 PM Joplin, MO (11/11/22) - For the third straight year, Bob Jones University (BJU) claimed the Division II Women’s Cross Country National Championship. The 5k race at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course featured 5 schools with 53 competitors. The Bruins finished with 29 points and had five runners in the top ten. North Central University (NCU) took second with 65 points, while Moody Bible Institute rounded out the top three with 84 points. Crown College's Abby Pausch won the individual title with a time of 19:25.0. Elizabeth Lofstad of NCU crossed the finish line in 19:43.7 to take second, while Boyce College's Danielle Ruhr finished third with a time of 20:00.1. BJU's best finisher was Joanna Lain who finished in a time of 20:16.1 for fifth place. Coach of the Year honors went to BJU’s Ken Roach.
